Coaching staff announced as Heathens link with FAB academy ahead of new season...

FLACKWELL Heath Football Club is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with FAB academy ahead of the 2017/18 season.

FAB academy, based at Bisham Abbey, will become a key partner, sponsoring the Youth and newly formed Development Squad which will replace last season's Reserve Team.

Manager Paul Shone will remain as manager of the first-team squad, who will look to continue on last year's impressive third placed finish in the league. Shone will be assisted by Sean Kelleher and Keith Ryan - who joins the club this summer.

The squad has been retained, but the club can confirm that Dan Bayliss and Joe Blount have departed and would like to wish the pair all the best for the future.

Chris Ayers will manage the Youth side, who will compete in the Allied Counties, and will be assisted by Darren Keeley.

The Under-23 team will replace last season's Reserve set-up, with the focus being heavily on developing players in a competitive environment so that they can challenge for a first-team position. The team will be managed by Brian Harris and will now compete in the Suburban Football League Central Division.

Damian Atkins remains in charge of Flackwell Ladies as they too look to continue their successes of last year.

The partnership will also see young prospects from FAB academy playing for the club in the Hellenic Premier and cup competitions, with the club having high ambitions for the future.

Flackwell Heath would like to place on record its thanks to departing coaches Matt Bradley, Ed Henderson, Steve Small, Mark Driscoll and Matt Rolfe and thanks them for their efforts and commitment to the club.
