Pitch Inspection at Shortwood

There will be a pitch inspection at Shortwood at 10am tomorrow to determine whether tomorrow nights Hellenic League Premier Division match between Shortwood United and Flackwell Heath can go ahead. At 10am today, the Meadowbank Stadium pitch was frozen solid although it was clear of snow following a slight thaw on Sunday afternoon. The forecast is for low temperatures to return during the rest of the week but it has been agreed between both clubs and the League Office to wait until tomorrow before making a final decision. News will appear here as soon as the inspection has been completed.
