Fleetwood RUFC would like to nominate Paul Stapleton for the Lancashire volunteer award. Paul has been involved with Fleetwood RUFC for over 15 years starting out as a parent and then progressing onto Head coach for two teams and taking them through to Senior Colts. Paul has successfully coached his teams through to the Cock of the North final after winning the league with his senior colts.

Every year is Paul's final year and to date he has now joined our under 14’s team to provide them with his coaching experience as well as helping out with our Senior Colts team.

Paul is well respected within all sections of the club from our under 6’s to the first team. Paul is often invited out by the senior players whom he has coached and is known affectionately as Chicken Paul.
Paul is also proactive in helping out within the club, from helping out the groundsman to clean up day. Paul has resurrected the clubs New Year’s Day Dip which provides much needed funds and to date has raised over one thousand pounds.

As chairman of the Mini Juniors it is an honour to have somebody within the section who gives his free time willingly. The comments from children and parents are always positive saying what a difference he makes to their team.

This is a nice way to say thank you and to show you how much we appreciate all your hard work and commitment.
