A sparkling night was had by all as the Gateway to Wales hotel hosted the Falcon’s finale to the season in spectacular style....

The venue, tastefully decorated in Falcons colours, providing a glitzy home for a presentation evening with great panache.

The gargantuan buffet that was to greet the guests was symbolic of the professionalism of the evening. A splendid feast, that all enjoyed immensely, was finished off with a stunning cake bearing the Falcon’s crest.

The evening progressed to celebrate another fine season with all players being congratulated on their efforts with the award of a presentation medal. Awards were given at Under 8s, 11/10s and 12s. A list of winners is appended but all should be congratulated.

A raffle with great prizes preceded an auction for shirts provided by Welsh international Rhys Williams which was to fetch in excess of £150 for North West Cancer Research. The conclusion of formalities saw guests continue to party in to the night in celebration of another impressively progressive season looking forward to an even better 2017.

All in all a fantastic evening where immense thanks and congratulations should be given to Laura and Mark for laying on an event, the quality and professionalism of which, I have certainly never seen in the past dozen years of attending this sort of function at various clubs.

The club would also like to express gratitude to the sponsors whose support is vital in allowing community clubs like ours to flourish.
