Flint Juniors attain Silver Accredition

We are extremely pleased to report that Flint Town United Juniors have been awarded Silver Status through the Club Accredition scheme.

This scheme is part of the Welsh Football Trust's programme to improve opportunities for young people to get involved in football. It is sponsored by McDonald's, and their Director of Welsh Football is none other than Flint's very own Ian Rush, who commented : "To be awarded Silver Accredition is a superb achievement. It is testament to the hard work of volunteers who ensure our young players learn and play football in the best possible environment".
Gordon Burrows, chairman of Flint Town United Juniors, has also praised the hard work of all the coaches who give up so much of their time in order to give young players such a great opportunity. He added, "We're incredibly grateful to have received recognition and look forward to achieving the ultimate goal - Gold Accredition, in the coming years".
