Chairman Darryl Williams told the website : "After taking over as Chairman, one of my priorities was to set up a Flint Town United women's team. As a club that is at the centre of its community, this was the one glaring omission from our set up. We have thriving junior and academy sections, and so the time is now right to launch a womens team. So, I'm pleased to say that as from next season we shall have this in place, and hopefully the team will join the North Wales Women's Football League. The name of the team has been provisionally titled Flint Town Women FC, and I would like to invite applications for the position of Team Manager/Head Coach. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has previous experience of coaching in this capacity".
