Preview : Porthmadog v Flint, Sat 12th January, 2-30pm

1 week ago By Nigel Sheen

It's 2nd versus 4th at Y Traeth tomorrow, with the added incentive for Flint being that a victory would mean they leapfrog their hosts in the table.

The first meeting between the two sides at Cae-y-Castell earlier in the season was notable in that it saw outfield player Andy Brown having to don the goalkeeper's gloves in the second half, following an injury to Josh Hart, just before the interval. To his credit. "Brownie" kept a clean sheet, and the game ended 1-1.
Flint will look to bounce back from their midweek NEWFA cup defeat, and their starting line up will no doubt be more akin to that which did so well at Holyhead the previous Saturday, with seven changes being made for the cup game.
For those supporters who have booked onto the coach, it departs from the social club at 11-15am.
