Niall McGuinness will be looking to build on last week's Welsh Cup result, as he seeks to claim his first league win, when we visit Porthmadog.

Of course, it's always a tricky game at Y Traeth, and with Port having run in seven goals themselves in their Welsh Cup win, it will be another big test for McGuinness' side. He told the website "I'm looking forward to the game ahead on Saturday it’s always a nice venue to go and play at.
We are expecting a very tough test, as Porthmadog are a strong side & have proven that so far this season. But I'm hugely encouraged by last weekend's win and am pleased with our work ethic and our ability to have kept a clean sheet. We now want to build on that result and take that form into the league, starting Saturday. We will be wanting to pick up the 3 points & build confidence leading into Boxing Day and the New Year"
New signing James Jones should make his league debut for Flint, having featured in the cup tie last week, whilst Joe Palmer may be added into the squad following his hamstring injury.
Let's hope that Porthmadog escapes the worst of the weather and the game goes ahead, as it's always an enjoyable away trip, especially as this season it is doubling up as the Flint supporters' Christmas function. Expect to see plenty of festive jumpers on display !!
Demand for places on the coach has been high, but anyone seeking late availability should contact Will Price via our Facebook page. The coach will depart the Social Club at 11-00am.
