Cricket force takes place this Saturday . . . . . .

Ladies and gentlemen,
Cricket force takes place this Saturday (29th). Cricket force is a day organised by the ECB (England & Wales cricket board) which focuses on improving our club through manual labour.
The day in the past has been a huge success with many jobs being done around the ground including building boundary fences, painting changing room, rebuilding fencing and repairing decking.
This year’s day will be coordinated by Mike Simpson and will start at 9.30am. The jobs include dismantling the broken sight screen, repairing the standing screen, sanding and re-painting this screen, painting the recently repaired boundary fence, clearing out the cricket store room and re organising, putting the covers back on the frames, general tidy up of the ground and oil the new decking.

It is so important that as many players and parents turn up to help, it’s your club and days like this are so important. We need paint brushes, tall ladders, sand paper or electric sanders, extension leads, wire brushes and various tools like hammers. So if you have any of these maybe you could bring them down for the morning.
See you all on Saturday
