Fundraising - Goal Accumulator
HOW IT WORKS
The Goal Accumulator costs £10 to enter and covers a 16 week period. Each entry ticket contains 4 numbers that correspond to 4 teams in the Football League 1st and 2nd Division as per the table on the rear of each entry ticket. Every 4 weeks the teams that correspond with each number change.
Every weekend the goals scored by each entry ticket's 4 teams are totalled and a table compiled which will be available on the website and published in the Clubhouse at the ground.
Only weekend matches count towards the competition. Matches played on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday count as each weekend's matches, although, should a team play more than once in these days then only the goals scored in the first match count.
Any team who do not play, for whatever reason, are deemed to have scored 1 goal towards this competition.
Prizes are awarded for the overall winner, runner-up and third place as well as for the highest goals scored in each 4-week period and a consolation prize for overall last place. In the event of several people having the same number of goals for a prize-winning position then the prize money is shared.
The prize money is half of the money taken, with half of the prize money being allocated for the winner.
The Club generally runs 2 Goal Accumulator competitions each season; one from August to December and a second from January to May.
