The club have therefore taken up the option on Allott’s contract which sees him remain contracted to the club until the end of the 2014/15 season.
Allott has scored 64 goals for the club in his two seasons at Westfield Lane with his total of 34 for the 2013/14 season being the joint eighth highest in a season in the club’s history – level with Andy Hayward who managed the same total twice.
Manager Karl Rose is in discussions with the other players whose contracts expired after the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup Final, along with non-contract players who he wishes to retain and details will be announced if and when any of these players re-sign for the club as well as when any new signing are made.
