Cotton is a 23 year old who was previously with Goole in the EvoStik League 1st Division South and Worksop Town.
However, having received approaches from both Armthorpe Welfare and Selby Town, Adam Lee has decided to leave the club and Lee Morris has been released to sign for Sheffield FC.
Winger Leon Henry is likely to be out of action for several more weeks and is due to see a specialist in a few weeks' time.
