Frome RFC 3rd welcomed Cheddar Valley RFC 2nd to Gypsy Lane on Saturday...
The Frome RFC 3rd XV returned to league action this weekend hosting a slightly depleted Cheddar Valley RFC 2nd XV at Gypsy lane.

From the restart Frome went on the attack again and worked their way up the pitch and were awarded a penalty 5 metres out, No.8 Steven Ruddick took a quick tap and popped the ball to Randall who found his way over the line again, the conversion being added by Stanley (14-0 ), Frome didn’t stop there and it was the Centre Randall scoring his third try not long after with another strong run, Stanley converting (21-0)
Confidence was high and another score came after a well worked move from the base of the Scrum which saw Ruddick pick and attack blind offloading to Scrum Half Callum Close who drew the defender to offload to Winger Luke Stanley who danced his way past the cover defence to score and convert his own try. (28-0)
Frome then took their foot of the gas and some good reactions from a loose ball saw Cheddar Valley score from the midfield and another coming from a barrage of attacks on the home sides line. (28-12)
