After advertising the appointment less than 1 month ago and sorting through the numerous applications and expressions of interest, Fry Club FC are delighted to announce that Nigel Lee will be taking over the reigns as 1st Team Manager. He will be introduced to players, officials, fans and members for the first time officially at the Club AGM on Tuesday 7th June.
Fry Club FC Chairman Kevin Saunders confirmed “Nigel brings with him a wealth of experience from his playing days as a prolific goalscorer and more recently as a Manager at both Western League and Somerset County League level. He shares our ethos and ambition to progress the Club to Step 6 and we believe we have secured the services of a very talented Manager”.
When confirming the appointment Fry Club FC Secretary Steve Curtis added “Nigel is a Keynsham lad and worked in the Cadbury Factory before its closure so knows the Club and its history extremely well. We are excited by his appointment as we look to continue the steady success the Club has been building over recent seasons”.
The Fry Club Officers and Committee congratulate Nigel on his appointment and wish him the very best of luck.
