New players welcome

The rugby season starts on Sunday 2nd Sept 2012.

Please bring your boots ...and a smile on your face.

NEW STARTERS
If you are new to Rugby and interested in joining a club, you are very welcome at Fullerians. We pride ourselves on having fun. Please arrive early and make yourself known.

TIMING
The coaches will be at the club from 9:30am, and we start training at 10am.

We will finish at apx 12 noon with a de-brief in the clubhouse. There is a proposal that we stick to traditional dress code - white shirt with club tie - Please join the coaches for a drink and feel free to share your thoughts on the session and catch up on the upcoming activities - Please make at least every other de-brief.

LOCATION
We have moved location. We are now on the pitch running adjacent to the driveway and closest to the clubhouse. Due to the overuse of this pitch our training location may vary
as the season progreses. Please monitor the newsfeeds or check with the coaches if in any doubt.

REGISTRATIONS
You will need to register at the clubhouse in the first 3 weeks. This will include payment (apx £100) and complete the required paperwork including head injury form notice.

You will need to ensure you are registered on the www.fullerians.co.uk website to stay in touch with age group communications. All team selections and newsfeeds are distributed via this channel.

Personal RESPONSIBILITIES to the club
As usual at some point during the season we will all be required to volunteer and participate in fundraising, kitchen and car parking duties. Please step forward swiftly and make yourself available to help support the club and the person organising the activity.

RFU LAWS
U11s sees the structure of play move to 12 a-side team with the addition of two forwards (second row) and a full back. Kicking is also introduced. Lets hope all of the kicking practise we did last season pays off.

FIXTURES
Our first competitive games are on October 14th in the Maidenhead festival. We have only one team entered into this festival and are not attending the Windsor festival this season.

TOUR 2013
We are planning our end of season tour early and will be collecting deposits of £100 per child in October. There will be no chance to join the tour later in the season.
