Fullerians started the brighter in their first home league game of the season and should have scored but were just not clinical enough. They did however score from the line out 5 metres out when Captain Mike Kerr crashed over.

Old Habs a good side who finished fourth last year immediately responded with a try of their own as the Fullers defence creaked. Once again Fullers put their noses in front as they stretched the visitors from touchline to touchline and hooker Drew Horne was on hand to give a sneaky dummy and score in the corner.

Habs took the lead with their fifth try as Fullers seemed to lose their concentration and fell off the tackles for them to score and convert.

The final say was from this young spirited Fullers side as centre Liam Mann made a half break kicked through for full back Dan Evans to gather the ball and score. Unfortunately the conversion went wide for the draw and it was Habs day.

Staines started to get back in the game and used their strong runners to go over for a

commented Fullerians head coach Rich Hoskins.
