We welcome all boys and girls who started year 1 in September 2017, who are interested in playing tag rugby. For season 2017/18 we will again be following the RFU Age Grade Rules for U6’s Tag Rugby. We train every Sunday and we also arrange to hold joint training sessions with other clubs both home and away across Hertfordshire.
Come and join us at our training sessions held every Sunday morning at 10.00 from Sunday 3rd September 2017 to the end of April 2018. These training sessions comprise warm-ups, fitness activities, ball handling skills and match practice. Children are allowed to attend 3 training sessions to see whether they enjoy tag rugby, before we expect them to join the club and pay the membership fees.
We train on the area to be found next to the patio outside of the clubhouse.
If you are interested or would like further information please contact Rick McConnell (Head Coach) or Louise Robinson (Team Admin).
We also operate a Business Page on Facebook and you can get lots of information by following us at https://www.facebook.com/Fulleriansyouth/
All our coaches are fully DBS checked and hold a RFU qualification to ensure a consistently high quality of coaching that always places enjoyment and safety first. Most of our coaches began by deciding to get involved, rather than watching from the side lines, and we always encourage parental involvement be it as coaches, first-aiders, referees or just vocal support!
In the interests of safety and appropriate behaviour, we ask that parents or another responsible adult remain at pitch side at all times during the training sessions/matches.
