Joel Barnett and Spencer Lund both joined the club from Frickley Athletic on 22nd October, making their debuts vs Cleethorpes and Tadcaster Albion respectively. Barnett has previously been on the books of Scunthorpe United. In addition he brings experience of a higher division to the team, being duel-registered with Essex side Tooting & Mitcham United who play in the Ryman League Division 1 North and has also featured for Tilbury FC, Aveley, Thurrock and, a little closer to home, Ossett Town. Lund is an attacking midfielder who trained with The Miners in pre-season before opting for Frickley. Was on the books of Doncaster Rovers as a youth player.

Central defender Craig Laight arrived on Cedar Ridge from Worsbrough Bridge two days later and is a central defender who adds strength to our back line. He made his debut along with Lund in the Tadcaster game.

Callum Cheetham and Mark Fereday (pictured) signed for us on the 14th and 15th November respectively, both making their debuts in the 1-0 win over Athersley. Cheetham is another attacking-midfield player, formerly of Worsbrough Bridge Under 19s. Striker Fereday was signed from Dronfield Town, is duel-registered with Sheffield FC and hails from the Chesterfield FC Youth side.

More info on striker Emmanuel Ajayi hopefully to follow but he joined us on 21st November and made his debut at Liversedge on Tuesday. Has previously played at Ebbsfleet United of the Conference South.

Hot off the press; Dan Barrett, James Davies, Mark Simpson and Sam Jones arrived on Cedar Ridge today from Glasshoughton, Hemsworth, Nostell and Maltby Main respectively. Barrett is an attacking midfielder previously at Evo-Stik League side Wakefield FC. Davies plays in centre-midfield and was on the books at Ossett Town at the start of 2014-15. Simpson is a striker who's made the headlines on Non League Yorkshire recently for his goalscoring abilities and looks certain to inject some competition into our front line. And finally Jones is another player formerly on the books of Frickley. A midfielder who fans may remember scoring twice for Maltby in the 5-2 home defeat last month.

Out:
As you'll have also read on Non League Yorkshire, Jay Davis left for Bradford Park Ave towards the end of October. Davis made 13 appearances for Town (one as a sub), scoring 5 goals, all in cup competitions.

Midfielders Karim Ibrahim and Aiden Lewis have both left the club (three and two appearances respectively).

And finally defender Glenn Wood has left this week after appearing in 21 games and scoring once (a goal well worth seeing again!). We wish all five well for the future.

We are currently working on photos for all players, but as you can imagine this is something akin to painting the Forth Bridge! What it does show however is Graham's restlessness in bringing talented young players to the club, and we hope their stays here are successful ones. Up the Miners!
