Another quick turnaround for The Miners as we host Handsworth (kick-off 3pm).

Whilst the manner of Thursday's draw with Parkgate was disappointing after taking a second half lead, it did at least stop the rot of four straight defeats, three of them without a goal to our name.

To use a cliché, Rob Hunter's injury-hit side will aim to end the home campaign on a high before we hit the road for the remaining four matches. Games in hand and superior goal differences for 2nd and 3rd place Pontefract and Pickering look to have denied our 4th place visitors Handsworth promotion this season, although it's still mathematically possible. They arrive at the Supply Chain Network Stadium in excellent form nonetheless, with only one defeat in their last thirteen.

Garforth will aim to avenge the 3-0 defeat suffered on Sandy Lane back in November. There's little joy to report in this meeting last season either, The Ambers running out 5-0 winners on 18th October 2016.

Town's injury problems are set to continue and goalkeeper Stephen Weatherill will serve a one-match suspension for the red card at Bridlington last weekend. Like ships in the night however, Peter Lawrie returned from his own four match ban on Thursday and is set to replace him between the sticks.

Hope to see you there, up the Miners!
