A look forward to the Garstang vs Marple game tomorrow as well as all the other events in the league.
Having had no game last weekend Garstang are looking forward to getting back into action against Marple tomorrow.
Marple will be visiting Hudson Park for the first time in what will be the first ever meeting of the two clubs which is a similar theme this season. The game kicks off at 14:15 and forms part of a double header with the Blues at home against Bury 2nds.
Marple have been in excellent form of late having won their last three games, with their most notable scalp been away at Orrell where they won 36-12 last month. They currently sit in fifth place in a very congested table which sees five teams separated by four points in pursuit of league leaders Aspull.
The league table is split into two parts at the moment with six teams all having strong records at the top and five teams adrift at the bottom. Tomorrow sees some tasty match-ups at both ends of the table.
At the top Aspull will be looking to extend their lead as they take on third placed Birchfield while just below sixth placed Eccles will be looking to gain some ground on Orrell who they host.
At the bottom Oswestry and Port Sunlight prop up the table and they are up against each other with the final game being between New Brighton and Dukinfield who are both just a couple of points above Garstang.
Lancs/Cheshire Two Fixtures:
Aspull vs Birchfield
Eccles vs Orrell
Garstang vs Marple
New Brighton vs Dukinfield
Port Sunlight vs Oswestry
As mentioned earlier the Blues are also at home as they host Bury 2nds. This is a big game for both teams as they are separated by just three points in the table and a win would help the Blues start to climb.
Sale Sharks Division Five North Fixtures:
Blackpool 1 vs Sedgley Park 4
Fleetwood 3 vs Colne and Nelson 2
Garstang Blues vs Bury 2
Wigan 2 vs Tarleton 3
On Sunday the Ladies take on Winnington Park Ladies, KO 14:00.
