Pre Season Fixtures

First up on August 8th, the 1st XV travel to Southport to play their First XV who, next season, will be playing in the parallel Merseyside league.

Then on August 15th, the 2nd XV will be playing a round robin mini tournament at home against old friends and rivals, Carnforth and Clitheroe. This may be expanded to four teams as Blackpool have also been invited as well.

This will make for a very interesting pre season for the club and will act as excellent preparation for the coming season.

Pre season training will formally begin on Thursday 9th July at Hudson Park but on Tuesday nights at 7 pm Robbie Kerr is running Touch Rugby sessions at Hudson Park which are open to anyone and these are proving to be excellent pre season fitness (or lack of) workouts.
