Gateshead Storm Open Age win away at a foggy Peterlee Pumas
Gateshead Storm open age put out a very strong side to face last years champions Peterlee.
Straight from the kick off Storm started strong with good meters made with runs from JAMMIE DIGGLE and Paul Seager and a welcome return to the club to Joe Melia and ROSS HEATHERINGTON
After leading 18 12 at half time when Storm game out all guns blazing they cut through the Peterlee defence with head coach Gareth Barron scoring in the corner.
With the trusty boot of Adam Houston final score was 38 - 24 which keeps Storm 2nd in the league.
Storms man of the match with his quick feet and crunching tackles JOHN MASON.
Chairman Mick Jones said that each and every player played their part in to-days victory. There is a good feeling within the club.
