Run Comes To An End in West Yorkshire

Gateshead Storms winning 9 game run came to a full stop when they went down 70 - 18 to Stanningley.

Storm did not start this game and this told when in the first minute from a 40-20 Stanningley got the ball back and went over to get the score board rolling in what was gonna be a long day at the office.

With the home team trying everything and coming off Storm had no answer and when half time came around it was a chance to have a chat and work on what needed doing.

Storm did get on the score sheet through Stephen Welton, Luke Banham and Chris Parker Jr who also slotted 3 goals .

Next up for Storm will be a trip to West Bowling who are the only other team to put 60 plus past the boys but with this defeat in the minds of the players we should be looking for a response.
