DeSinco Trading - Company Background

In 1980 consumer's goods became scarce and unavailable in Guyana. With
the Country at the crossroads, severe constrains and restriction of imports was
imposed by the Government of the day.

Mr. Frank DeAbreu (a life Insurance Salesman) garnered little resources
available and pursued trading in small quantities known as "Suitcase Trading".
The items traded then were Cricket Balls, Jamaican Ambi and Lander Products.

Six years later as consumer's demand grew for better goods and service Mr.
DeAbreu began importing from Lever Brothers West Indies Limited, Nabisco
Incorporated and Sterling Drugs Limited Products imported were Breeze
Detergent, Dot, Toilet Cleaner, Royal Icing Sugar, Royal Gelatine, Fresco Drink
Mix, Panadol, etc.

By 1990, Mr. DeAbreu investment Capital became severely strained, which
resulted in him teaming up with Mr. Bhagwan Singh (a trawler captain) to form
DeSinco Trading Limited (i.e. partnership of DeAbreu & Singh - DeSinco).

The following year the partnership ended but for goodwill purpose the name was
retained, Mr. DeAbreu reacquiring sole ownership.

In 1993 the Managing Director, Frank DeAbreu with four employees consisting
a Salesman, Driver, Secretary and Customer Clerk set forth to realize the
Company dream and vision "Being the best distributor of quality consumer's
goods in Guyana".

DeSinco Trading has since grown to a staff of fifty-two (52) between its Head
Office on John and Sheriff Streets and factory at Industrial Estate Eccles, and
distributes extensively for principals such as ; Kraft, Unilever, Vemco, HiPac
and now moving towards the production of our own line of products soon to be
