GCA AGM & ELECTIONS SCHEDULED FOR 6:00 PM TODAY.

The Annual General Meeting of the Georgetown Cricket Association is set to be held at Malteenoes Sports Club at 6:00 PM today.
The AGM that was originally scheduled to be held on the 19th February 2014 was stopped by an injunction filed by Nazimul Drepaul, a life member of Everest Cricket Club. As a result of the hearing the Chief Justice ordered that a Special General Meeting be held with a specific agenda. Below are decisions that were taken at the Special General Meeting:
DECISIONS TAKEN BY MEMBERS OF THE GEORGETOWN CRICKET ASSOCIATION AT THE SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING HELD ON 20TH MARCH, 2014.

Pursuant to the order of the Honourable Chief Justice (AG), Mr Ian Chang, dated 27th February, 2014 which resulted from the hearing of the injunction filed by Mr Nazimul Drepaul, the Georgetown Cricket Association Executive Committee held a Special General Meeting on Thursday 20th March 2014 at 18:00 hrs (6.00 PM) at the Malteenoes Sports Club pavilion.

As ordered by the Honourable Chief Justice the Agenda for that meeting was as follows:

1) To Decide To Waive The Rules Of the Georgetown Cricket Association
To Provide For The Annual General Meeting (AGM) To Be Held Outside
The Month Of January.
2) To Set A Date For The Annual General Meeting.
3) To Decide Whether The 2012 Elected Executives Will Function as
Executives Up To and Including The Annual General Meeting Set In Item 2
above.

Based on the ordered agenda the Members of the Georgetown Cricket Association decided:

1. Unanimously, to Waive The Rules Of the Georgetown Cricket Association
To Provide For The Annual General Meeting (AGM) To Be Held Outside The Month Of January in the year 2014 only.

2. By majority, to set the Date For The Annual General Meeting to be held on the 20th November, 2014.

3. By majority, that The 2012 Elected Executives Will Function as Executives Up To and Including The Annual General Meeting Set for the 20th November, 2014.

Clubs Represented at this meeting were: DCC, GCC, Police SC, GDF, MSC, AW, 3rd Class, YMCA, GNIC, GYO, MYO, Diplomats SC, ECC, UG & TSC
