The Queensway Cup - GCA Open Knock-Out 50 Overs Competition 2012 the most lucrative club competition in Guyana was launched on Wednesday 10th October 2012 at the Georgetown Cricket Club Pavilion. The competition is set to begin on Saturday 13th October 2012. Mr Clive Lloyd, Chairman of the IMC for Cricket In Guyana attended the launching and made some brief remarks.
At the launching, Mr Mohamed Arafat Qualander made remarks on behalf of QUEENSWAY and also made presentations of a water pitcher to each GCA member club taking part in the competition. The sponsor also gave tokens to members of the press along with a special gift to Mr Clive Lloyd for gracing the occasion with his presence.
