Lewis is 3 years old. A child just like anyone else's. Just over a month ago he was happily playing with his older brother when suddenly he is doubled over in pain. A quick trip to the doctors and it's the news every parent dreads. Cancer. Lewis has Stage 4 Wilms Tumor, it's already spread to his lungs. He has already had 6 rounds of chemotherapy. Two days after Christmas he will have his kidney and the tumor removed. Lewis has already spent 3 weeks as an inpatient at Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham. This year Lewis and his family won't get to have the Christmas we will sit down and enjoy.
As a show of support, thanks to the organisation of Andy Reynoldson, Geddington Cricket Club will be hosting a Charity Football Match to raise money for the family so they can have a dream holiday once his treatment is over to make up for their nightmare Christmas.
Following the Football match there will be a raffle and auction with some great prizes. Please come down and support this great cause.
