Geddington 1st Team made it four league wins in a row with victory by 36 runs against Oundle Town 1st Team at Oundle Town Cricket Club on Saturday.
Peter Foster (48) and Daniel Robinson (62) got the Oundle Town innings off to a good start by putting on 90 for the 1st wicket partnership, chasing 206 to win. But then Tiaan Raubenheimer (5-37) took five wickets with the ball for Geddington as the home side were All Out for 169 in 37.3 overs, Adil Arif (3-16) took three wickets for the visitors and there was also a wicket each for Chris Murdoch and Andrew Reynoldson.
Earlier, Geddington batted first and were All Out for 205 in 44.4 overs, Murdoch (39*) and Charlie Gingell (38) put on 67 for the 8th wicket partnership after being 128-7, Luke Cummins (28), Raubenheimer (24) and Ben Mansell (24) all made contributions with the bat for the visitors. Liam Fresen (4-54) took four wickets with the ball for Oundle Town, there was also two wickets each for Jack Bolsover (2-23), Joe Charlton (2-25) and Harrison Craig (2-29) for the home side.
