Geddington 2nd Team go into the final week of the season with a 2 point lead over Bowden 1st Team in the race for the final Division 4 promotion place, Geddington got 17 points for a Winning Draw away at Wellingborough Town 2nd Team, with Bowden only getting 14 points for their Winning Draw at home to Podington.
Geddington batted first and made 203-8 declared off 41 overs, Marcus Knight
(102) top-scored with a century for the visitors in an innings which included 18 fours, Mark Thomas
(20) was also in the runs, Knight and Thomas got the away side innings off to a great start by putting on 106 for the 1st wicket partnership. Thomas Keeney (7-53) took seven wickets with the ball for Wellingborough Town, James McDermott picked up the other wicket to fall for the home side.
In reply, Wellingborough Town finished on 109-8 off their 49 overs, Keeney (36) top-scored with the bat for the home side, McDermott (25*) was also in the runs. Lee Sutherland
