Geddington Under-15's reached the Under-15's Tata Cup Semi-Final after victory by 7 wickets against Medbourne Under-15's in the replay of last week's Quarter-Final which was abandoned due to the weather last Thursday at Geddington Cricket Club on Thursday Evening.
Medbourne batted first and made 100-7 off their 20 overs, Oliver Ashton (34*) top-scored with the bat for the visitors, Archie McCann (21) was also in the runs.
Sam Smith (4-5) was the pick of the Geddington bowlers with four wickets,
Stanley Kirk (1-15),
Cole McWilliam (1-17) and
Benedict Harvey (1-18) all took a wicket each with the ball for the home side.
In reply, Geddington reached their target of 101 to win with 9 balls to spare and 3 wickets down, Harvey (36*) top-scored with the bat for the home side, McWilliam (35) was also in the runs, Harvey and McWilliam got the innings off to a great start with a 76 run partnership for the 1st wicket, before Harvey and Ben York (10*) guided the hosts to victory. Harry Spooner (2-8) took two wickets with the ball for Medbourne, there was also a wicket for Alfie Smith (1-10).
