Conditions were good on a clear dry afternoon in West Kent, with a big crowd in attendance.
Vigo took control early on, and went into a 12-0 lead before 20 minutes was on the clock.
However, Anchs got into the game after this by running some great lines, that really put Vigo under pressure, so much so that we struck 3 times before the interval with tries from Darren Franks, Jon Mann and Tom Howlett.
The 2nd half was a real battle with Vigo taking the lead with less than 10 minutes on the clock, which could have been more but for a brilliant try saving tackle from that man Howlett.
As the clock ticked on Anchs then started to turn the screw, with Jon Mann barrelling over under the posts, with Dom Saunders his usual cool self adding the conversion.
As the clock ticked to 80 minutes, the last play saw Anchs win their own scrum and hold on for a hard fought victory.
