FA Cup and FA Trophy
The FA has announced the draws for the early rounds of the FA Cup and FA Trophy today.
Glapwell have been drawn at home for their first action in the Cup, which is scheduled to take place in the Preliminary Round on Saturday 28 August, although Mansfield Town are at home to Cambridge United in the Blue Square Bet Premier and Field Mill will be unavailable on that date.
Glapwell’s opponents will be either NCEL Premier Division side Lincoln Moorlands Railway or Friar Lane & Epworth of the Midland Football Alliance who play each other in the Extra Preliminary Round for the right to face Glapwell.
In the Trophy, Glapwell have also been drawn at home with the visit Evo-Stik Division One South rivals Spalding United to Field Mill in the Preliminary Round of the competition on Saturday 2 October.
