Glapwell returned to winning ways as a good overall performance saw them triumph with a 3-0 victory over Brodsworth Welfare at Hall Corner.

Once again depleted, but with full commitment from those in attendance, Glapwell had chances in the first period but had to wait until the final moments of the first half to break through when Jordan Hall brilliantly dinked the ball over the keeper and into the top corner from outside the area.

Daniel Russell made it 2-0 just before the hour when he finished well from just inside the area.

There were further chances for Glapwell to extend their advantage which they finally did on 77 minutes when Russell was bundled over in the area and Neil Grayson stepped up and converted the resultant penalty.

Overall, a good performance and result for Glapwell who consolidate sixth place, now three points above Harworth Colliery with three games remaining, including the meeting of the two on the final game.

Glapwell host title hopefuls Westella VIP next Saturday, kick-off 3pm.
