The Glapwell Football Club membership held an EGM last evening (Thursday 19th May) to discuss the club's future.
After considering the issues surrounding the club's membership, regrettably, it was decided that Glapwell Football Club would withdraw from the Northern Premier League with immediate effect. This decision has been made with sadness, but in the best interests of all the management, backroom and playing staff, who have remained so loyal to the club and contributed so much in recent times. A further meeting will be held next week to address the question of which competitions the club will apply to, for next season. The legal action to determine the matter of their Ground Licence will start next week with an interim hearing in the Nottingham County Court.
