Glapwell will be looking for another performance like the one they put in against Goole in midweek then they host second-placed Carlton Town at Hall Corner this coming Saturday, kick-off 3.00pm.

The Millers are having a great season so far and currently sit in second place with 42 points from 20 games. They are also the leading scorers in the league with 55 goals so far.

Glapwell are four places and nine points behind in sixth on 33 points, now just one place and one point outside the play-off places.

Glapwell will come into the game buoyed by three wins in the last four games with three clean sheets. Whereas, Carlton have not been in the best of form recently winning just one of their last five games.

Interestingly, Carlton have strong former Glapwell connections amongst their ranks this season. Manager Les McJannet, who spent three years at Glapwell winning promotion to this level and just missing the play-offs in his last season, is now in charge of The Millers and he has certainly enjoyed a good start to his reign. Player wise, they have Neil West, who was given a testimonial at Glapwell for ten years service, in goal.

Ashley Kitchen, Rob Darkin, Ryan Goward, Lewis Trimmer and Neil Grayson are other players now at Carlton that have played at Glapwell over the past couple of seasons.

The league meetings between the sides last season saw Glapwell complete a double. Firstly, winning 3-2 at Hall Corner in September 2009 with a late Conor Higginson winner. The reverse fixture also saw a late Glapwell winner but this time it was Adam Kimberley scoring a screamer just before the end. However, when the teams met in the F.A Cup it was Carlton that came out on top, winning 1-0 at Hall Corner.

It has all the ingredients to be a quality game.
