Glapwell will be looking to bounce back from Monday's defeat to Bilsthorpe when they make the trip to Askern FC this Saturday, kick-off 3pm.

As well as Glapwell played on Monday, they were beaten by a last minute goal that condemned them to their second defeat of the season.

But they can take plenty from the game, in terms of performance, and still occupy third place after taking ten points from their opening six league games.

After five of those six games took place at Hall Corner, this is only Glapwell's second away game of the season and they will be looking for maximum points to finish the opening month strongly.

Askern come into the game in ninth place with seven points from their first four league matches.

They started the season with two victories, and clean sheets, by beating Dinnington Town and Sherwood Colliery but have since suffered defeat to Thoresby before a 3-3 draw at Bentley on Bank Holiday Monday.

Last season, they finished second bottom after winning only four league games all season.

Glapwell had the better of the meetings, firstly winning 2-1 at Manor Way last October before a 2-2 draw at Hall Corner back in April.
