Gala and Heriot’s will clash at the top of the BT Premiership tomorrow afternoon in a Bill McLaren Shield match at Netherdale.

Gala's George GrahamHeriot’s will try to continue to move ahead at the top of the division, while Gala look to defend the prestigious trophy for a third time and move one step closer to earning a coveted engraving.

Over in the west Ayr and Melrose will meet at Millbrae in another top four clash, while at Glasgow Hawks, brothers Peter and George Horne will line-up in the same team for the first time in their careers when Currie visit Old Anniesland.

Scotland internationalist, Peter Horne, said: “I’m looking forward to getting a run out with my little bro. He’s a class act!

This Hawks team is filled with a good group of players and I’m excited about the prospect of a tough game against Currie who are well organised and have had some good results this season.

“It will also be a good matching up against my good mates, James Downey and Richie Vernon.”

Hawick round off the weekend’s fixtures when they welcome Boroughmuir to Mansfield Park.

All matches kick-off at 3pm.
