The Piranhas played better than the final score suggests;

A bright start by the Piranhas almost led to them taking an early lead when Joe Henniker fired wide after good work by Oliver Stonehouse. Oliver Stonehouse was then off-target with a snap shot. 3D gradually got on top and a combination of wayward shooting and saves by Josh Ward kept the scores level. Alex Friend and Oliver Stonehouse then forced the keeper to make saves.
Joe Aspden made a vital interception to halt a 3D attack. Teddy Fantom and Oliver Stonehouse combined to release Joe Henniker but a last-ditch tackle blocked his shot. The Piranhas learnt the important lesson of playing to the whistle when they conceded from a corner which had swung out of play.
Ben Gove was involved twice in a move with Alex Friend and Oliver Stonehouse as the Piranhas passed the ball neatly from the start of the second half. Teddy Fantom tackled a Dynamo as he bore down on goal before the Piranhas did concede two quick goals. Josh Ward produced a fantastic save to deny 3D once more before the Dynamos extended their lead.
