On Monday 5th October over 70 girls aged 7-11 attended our Football Festival Skills session as part of the FA's week of promoting Girls Football with the #Wecanplay campaign
Held in conjunction with High Peak Sports Partnership, Glossop North end Ladies, Glossopdale Community College and ATP the afternoon of football was a great success .
Coaches from Glossop Juniors, Glossop North End Ladies and 4 Young Sports Leaders ran a mixed session covering fun , fundamental football skills. Zoey Shaw (Glossop North End Ladies and Glossop Juniors under 10's coach) ran a warm up for over 70 girls !
Glossop Juniors already has girls teams at under 10, under 13 and under 16 with a pathway to senior football with Glossop North End Ladies. We are also delighted to announce a new under 9's team will be formed in 2016 run by Dave Rowlinson and Ben Mills. More details to follow.
