Glossop Juniors Football Development Committee last night unveiled their clubs vision and mission statement to over 25 of its managers and coaches supporting over 325 players and 21 teams.

This was put together with FA Club Mentor and with input from all the committee and will be the cornerstone of our aims and the provision of junior football in the community. It was great to deliver this at the Senior Club at Surrey Street and was well received by all who attended.

Glossop Juniors Objectives

"We will always try to encourage creative and imaginative football

We will develop our players physical, social, technical and psychological aspects of their game consistent with FA best practice

We will offer all our players the pathway to play football at the highest standard they can internally or externally

We will offer consistent coaching, facilities, equipment and support to all our teams across all age groups and all abilities

We strive to be a valuable part of the local community and be recognised as “the club of choice” for junior football in the area"

Glossop Juniors now aim to ensure this vision is clear to every coach, player and parent and volunteer associated with the club.
