We recieved the following from Dee Scott;
I am organising a weekend of fundraising events to raise money for Bristol Chidlrens Hospital (Cardiac Ward 32), who have provided vital care for the baby of a friend and fellow members of Old Cryptians RFC, Jim and Emily Blackford.
I wondered if you would be able to put up a flyer on your Club's notice Board as I have arranged an Exhibition Game between ex Gloucester RFC Players The Cherry Pickers and ex Bristol and Internationals The Peeler on Sunday 22nd January at Old Cryptians RFC, Gloucester (GL1 5NS). I am awaiting clarity on the Ref, who I also hope will help raise the profile of the game even further.
As an exhibition game I am hoping that it will attract rugby followers from all over the County and give those players attending a warm welcome and of course support, whilst at the same time enable us to raise some much need money for essential equipment, such as heart monitors for babies like olly. Olly will a year old this month and is due vital, and already delayed surgery (due to ill health) and I feel this will be a wondeful way to say thank you to them and show just a little appreciation.
I have attached some info for you on why and what etc but if you require more info please do let me know.
I hope that you feel able to support our event and display our posters. A draw will also take place on the day (22nd).
