Examples of the Incidence of Gnomadic Reference in Classical, Historical and Contemporary Literature.
This paper was first presented by the author at the Gnomads Annual Dinner at the Spinnery, Hayfield on the 8th January 1993. It has been reproduced in this web site with the permission of the Executive Committee of the Gnomads Cricket Club (Touring) with publication sponsored by The Gnomad News ("A Friend Dropping One"), for the benefit of those members who either missed the Dinner, or who during it were either asleep, pissed or distracted by the continual interruptions of John Pluck.
The Gnomiad - Homer
One of Homer's less well known, but nonetheless worthy works. We had a few teething problems, with the original wax tablets melting in the scanner, but having overcome these the Gnomiad is due to appear here, in all its mythical glory, very soon.
Prologue to The Gnomad's Tales - Geoffrey Chaucer
We are still trying to get this ancient manuscript authenticated, but hope to have its Chaucerian provenance confirmed shortly. As soon as this happens an electronic copy will be published here.
Samuel Fitzlaming's Diaries
This great work is in the process of being restored to its former shabbiness and will be presented here shortly..
Under Milk Stout - Dylan Thomas
This inevitable result of Mr. Thomas' overindulgence will appear here as soon as we've cleaned it up enough to make it legible..
