Argyle left it late but Dan Foakes was on hand to tuck away a penalty with around ten minutes of time left.
Argyle started on the front foot, dictating play and creating 3 or four good chances in the first half. Baddow struggled to get close to the Argyles midfielders.
Alex Porter had the first chance, playing a one-two with Sam Wallis and was clean through, only for the Baddow keeper to make a smart save.
Porter then had another decent half chance, from an inswinging Ifield corner, the ball dropped at his feet but he couldn't keep his shot down.
Lee Ifield, playing up top in this game, tested the keeper from 25 yards, Gary Souster was alert to the rebound, held the ball up and squared for Lee, who's goal bound effort was blocked behind for a corner.
Just before half time Dan Flower found himself clean through, his shot went just wide, however, the Baddow keeper was quickly off his line to rush the effort.
Argyle started the second half a little sloppy, and this invited Little Baddow back into the game.
Baddow deserevdly took the lead mid way through the second half after Argyle failed to clear their lines.
Baddow then had a goal ruled out for offside, and this proved pivital in the end for Goldhanger.
Sam Wallis' attempted shot was blocked by a Baddow defenders arm, which was above his head.
Dan Foakes slotted home the resulting spot kick to restore parity.
Gary Souster went close late on with a header but neither side really deserved to lose.
