May Bank Holiday Weekend..

Wow - what a weekend. Marquee or no marquee.....

Saturday saw the Minis and Juniors up first with their awards afternoon. With the weather set fair 95% of the mini awards were presented outside with the end of the u12s just catching the thunder and rain.

Player of the year Awards...
U7 - Sophie Westerman
U8 - Thomas Pallot
U9 - Jan Shaw
U10 - Isaac Smith
U11 - Ashton Neal
U12 - Charlie Wilcox
All U12s were presented with club ties to make their passage to junior rugby next season.

U13 - Harry Goodhall
U14 - Brodie Tinning
U15 - Jake Costello
U13 Girls - Anna King
U15 Girls - Lauren Gibson

Most Improved Player of the year Awards
U7 - Ashton Dobson
U8 - Alister Cooper
U9 - Elizabeth Ogilby
U10 -
U11 - Oliver Ruhmann
U12 - Henry Binns
U13 - Dominik Chodorowski
U14 - Peter Hall
U15 - Jack Nixon

Team of the Year Awards..
Mini team of the year - Under 11
Junior team of the year - Under 14

Rhys Wilkinson Award - Phil Wood

Bubbly was also presented to Jayne Patrick (Safeguarding) and Liz Vollans (Chairperson) for their contributions to the mini and junior section.

With the successes of the season, the decision was made to have an open presentation for all on the Sunday with players, wives, girlfriends, partners, mums and dads, coaches, children and all members invited. What a decision that turned out to be as everyone partied hard into the small hours with Soul Revolver proving an amazing acoustic set followed by DJ Digga.

The awards were as follows:

U17s player of the year - Luke Darley
U17s most improved player of the year - Kieran Blackburn
Colts player of the year - Jack Smith
3rd/Development XV player of the year - Harry Patrick
2nd XV player of the year - James Donoghue (also the 2nd XV top try scorer)
Most improved player of the year - Chris Wood (from back to front row!)
Young player of the year - Elliot Harman (1st XV scrum half)
Top try scorer - Tom Halliday (37 tries in league and National Vase)
Clubman of the year - Jonty Wilcox / James Hawksworth (Sponsorship)
Bath plug - John Hall
Team of the Year - Management/Coaching Staff (Greg Bone, John Hall, Phil Jackson, James Ruhmann, Benny Moore, Steve Grimbleby, Julian Patrick, Dave Walton)
1st XV Players Player of the Year - Jamie Shand
1st XV Player of the Year - Danny Holt

Flowers were presented to Meg Bone, Sally Halliday and Katie Brewer for their contributions to a very successful season on and off the field.

Well done to all players and committee for their awards and to everyone involved in making it such a successful season - here's to next season.
