Squad Details
I hope everyone has had a good summer and hasn't missed the football too much.
Well, a lot has changed at Goole AFC over the closed season none as important as a change at the top. I wish to give my gratitude to Des and Pat for giving me a chance and being very supportive throughout the season and i wish them both a happy future.
We now have Chris Hoff (Chairman) and Phil Jones (Vice Chairman) at the helm and we have had numerous meetings in order to put the club on solid foundations and build towards a properous and successful future and i look forward to close positive working relationship between the 3 of us.
I would like to thank everyone for the support we received for the pre season games and hopefully the brand of football we played will have entertained everyone enough so we can retain the fantastic support we have already received so far this season.
I do appreciate that i have kept my cards close to my chest and the new players and current squad has been kept "top secret" this has been done as part of a plan. I have been involved in football for a long time and know that no one is signed and part of the squad until they are contracted and the season is underway. I now feel confidant that everyone is staying and am very happy with the squad we have assembled, details of which are listed below and we are all looking forward to the new successful season.
