Goole Town Cricket Club is pleased to announce that thanks to funding from Tesco Bags of Help and East Riding Council Commuted Sums its new Outdoor Family Area is now complete.

Hygieia Group http://hygieiagroup.co.uk/ have completed the works to extend the existing block paving area and surround the area with fencing that will protect visitors from any chilly winds that blow across the cricket field during the year. The club still has plans to install seating and tables in the area but the main part of the ground and fence work is now complete. East Riding Council Commuted Sums scheme uses commuted sums that are generated in lieu of outdoor play space which developers are unable to provide within new housing developments. The commuted sum is then used to enhance existing or provide new sporting or recreational facilities within the area in which it was generated.
