Check the times for your child's training on the website.

Below are the training times and venue’s for the teams for the summer from this week:

U9 – Friday, Goole Town Cricket Club – 5pm – 6pm
U11 – Friday, Goole Town Cricket Club – 5.30pm – 6.30pm
U13 – Friday, Goole Town Cricket Club – 6pm – 7pm
U15 – Tuesday, Goole Town Cricket Club – 6pm – 7.30pm & Friday, Goole Town Cricket – 6pm – 7.30pm

The ages are based on the childs age on 1st Sept 2016, so please make sure you come along to the correct session.

Clothing - Please ensure that all the kids have clothing appropriate to the weather. Please do not send them in shorts and T-Shirt when it’s cold and windy and ensure that they have a hat and sun cream when it is sunny.

Drinks - They need to have a drink with them for the session. We would ask that you do not send isotonic/energy drinks as they are full of sugar and make them less likely to concentrate in the session. Water with cordial is fine, but please do not send energy drinks as the kids do not need them.

Allergies & Medication - If they have an allergy or need any medication the coaches need to be aware of this and they need to bring their medication with them. You should have indicated on your membership form (or email to confirm details) if they have any allergies or other conditions, but please ensure that you speak to a coach and hand over the medication on the day. A box will be provided to store them during the session.

Parents attendance – Please note that you need to be present at training and matches or arrange with another parent to be responsible for your child. The club is not a babysitting service and coaches cannot be expected to be responsible for all the children and they must have parents or a responsible adult with them at all times. We have no problems with you organising a parent to look after your child, but the coach cannot be the person who has this role.

Kit - Under 9s do not require any specific kit except trainers and appropriate clothing for the weather. For hygiene reasons the U11s & above must have their own abdominal protector. We would also recommend that they use their own helmet, but some are available to use if they do not have one just yet. Most of the other gear can be provided by the club but eventually new starters will want their own equipment (as everyone else has it) but in the early weeks new starters only need the abdominal protector.
