With less 24 July than ideal

After an up and down weekend, the selection panel have arrived at four elevens to get four results this weekend. Hopefully those four results will be wins.

The 1's lose Israel Ochwo, who is contractually barred from playing against High Roding and also carrying a shoulder injury. Shaun Ross will therefore charge in looking to go for less than 87 in 10 overs. My money is on him. Craig Ivey and Kane Messenger return from their sojourns, neither knowing what that word means, and Jordan Harris is also available after racing/alleged female social clashes last weekend. Kurt Whisker therefore leads a well-balanced youthful XI, as he should.
Jordan Calverley also returns to batting duties, as he should.

The glut of 1's returnees sees Billy Chapman head for the 2's after coming off second best in the ginger-off at Rettendon last Sunday, Mark Leslie Patrick Bird being the main absentee from Lee Ramduth's mid-table machine.

The title chasing 3's head for picturesque Woodham Mortimer with a better than average side built around the veteran bats of Keith Friend, Andy Livett and Matty Jones and with Tommy Puncher and Bobby Gaymer in support. The Atkins family, the u15's and the best death bowler in the club take care of the bowling. Robbo picks up the gloves.....The Woodies will need to be on form to compete.

The 4's have two Rooke's (the loosest Rooke still being exiled in Singapore), the Silver Fox, the Auburn Marauder, the Dagenham Suliemen Benn, two Parnell's, Leadfoot and Keith Maund. The world, certainly at Division Eleven level is theirs.
