"Bateman Groundworks Ltd have agreed to come on board as they bought into our vision of how we want to build the club and carry on the work we are doing within the local community and will now be Gorleston Football Club’s Main Club Sponsor for a period of 5 years.

"This is a tremendous boost and recognition for all the hard work that our officials and volunteers have put into the club which now has a very healthy youth section, a successful ladies team and three senior adult sides.

"To run a successful club at grassroots level is always very difficult and this new historic agreement helps the club immensely and helps to improve our infrastructure and our continued growth.

"We cannot thank Richard Bateman and his company enough for their very kind gesture that will help us stabilise the club and build for the future.

"A word of thanks must also be given to our Director of Football, Mr Carl Butler, and our recently appointed Sponsorship and Corporate Manager, Mrs Julie Ingram, for negotiating such a historic sponsorship deal for the club.
