Another friend of the Club we must record a sad farewell to is former Captain and stalwart Peter Ghigi who at the young age of 50 regretfully died in a fall at home on Christmas Day. Peter and his brother Russell (to whom we offer our deepest symapathy and heartfelt commiserations) were renowned in the 1970s and 1980's for winning every trophy the Club had to offer . These trophies were memorable in themselves - the Ghigi Award in particular was the same size and shape of the average home's mantelpiece. If any current or former members of the Club still have any of them in their possession or know of their whereabouts I should be very interested to hear from you as the Club's archivist. In the meantime farewell Peter RIP.
